BUCHAREST NORTH RAILWAY STATION
Around 20-30 minutes I arrived at the station, I continued to walk for a few hundred meters to
the hotel, the time is around 3PM. In Romania the sun set time is around 7PM, so I still had
some time before it's dark to explore the city, as the first day arrive I tried to get adjusted by
walking the street instead of taking taxi or bus.
From the hotel to city center is around 3-4 Kilometers, so I decided to walk with the first big
destination which is the The Parliament of Romania (Parlamentul României) and the National
Institute of Statistics (Institutul Național de Statistică). the buildings are big. I did not have a
chance to see the inside, just walked pass as I did not have much time and as I studied the
information, you need to reserve and buy a ticket to have a tour inside the Parliament .
I continued walking to the old town area, this place is quite like a tourist attractions and I saw a
sign about the old town with the map marked spot A - B - C etc. There are people around the
place, I believe it will be more people during the night time. But as I travelled alone at the new city
I better be inside during the night.
