SUT <> UDJG
Hello everyone, I'm Hataikan Tongjareon or P Tee from Center
for international Affairs, SUT. It's a great opportunity for me to have
a chance to travel to Romania with the “Dunarea de Jos” University
of Galati as my destination. In this occasion, I was assigned to be
SUT representative to attend the 1st ERASMUS+ International Staff
Week Internationalization and Digitalization in Higher Education
during 19 – 23 September 2022. I will share my experience to you,
please stay tuned step by step with me.
JOURNEY TO EUROPE
It's a long way to go, this time I chose Qatar Airways, which I had to take the flight from
Suvannabhumi Airport and transfer my flight at Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar for
around 7-8 hours of stopover, then continued the flight to Bucharest Henri Coandă
International Airport for around 4-5 hours. At that time, I had to stay over night in Bucharest
and continued my journey by train on the next day.
FROM AIRPORT TO CITY CENTER
I chose to take train from airport to Bucharest North Railway Station (BUCUREȘTI GARA
DE NORD) I booked a hotel near by the train station as it will be convenient to walk to the
station in the early morning. The train ticket from airport to the North station is only 5 RON
(1 RON = 7.5 THB). The ticket can be purchased at the box office or at the machine situated at
the station. My suggestion is that, just follow the sign.
