My research project topic is “Biodegradability of Newly Synthesized
Polymers Using Microbes”. This study aims to examine whether the newly
synthesized polymers are biodegradable or not by using microbes. I have
learned how to organize and plan my experiments wisely from this

program. I have learned new techniques and experienced the Japanese-
work style laboratory from my lab members. My professor and my lab
members are affable and friendly. They were pleased to help me and

kindly gave me advice in both researching and living. I did many activities
together with my lab members which created our bonding stronger. We
went to have lunch, sang karaoke, played board games, and traveled
together. There are many places to explore and many cultural stories to
learn in Japan, I hope I can go explore Japan with them in the future. I was

grateful to be a part of this laboratory and hope that our friendship will
last in the future.
