On Friday, September 11, 2026, the Center for International Affairs, in collaboration with the Student Affairs Division and SUT Student Dormitories, organized the second “Suranivet Dormitory Connect 2026” at Suranivet Dormitory 21, Suranaree University of Technology. The event aimed to strengthen relationships between Thai and international students while enhancing their understanding of dormitory regulations and helping them adjust to living together happily in a multicultural and multilingual community.
The programme included a briefing on dormitory regulations, ice-breaking activities, and interactive games, including “Get to Know Your Suranivet Dormitory Friends,” “Solve the Puzzles,” “Green Flag / Red Flag Roommates,” and “Matching Friends.” These activities provided opportunities for students to get to know one another, exchange experiences, and learn how to live together with mutual understanding and respect for cultural differences.
The event also featured a shared meal with food representing diverse cultures, encouraging students to learn about different cultures through food, build friendships, and contribute to a welcoming international atmosphere across the University. Approximately 400 participants attended the event, including both Thai and international students, along with university executives, dormitory advisers, staff members, and student assistants.
