Center for International Affairs (CIA), Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), invites SUT Undergraduate students studying science or engineering to apply for the Short-Term Exchange Program at Kumamoto University (KU), Japan, an SUT partner university, for the Spring Semester 2027. Applications close on 27 October 2026 at 16:30 hrs. (Thailand time).
Selected applicants will receive a tuition fee waiver from Kumamoto University and THB 15,000 in financial support from SUT towards round-trip airfare. The program offers opportunities to study in an international academic environment and gain experience in Japanese language, society, and culture.
Applicants must be active SUT undergraduate students in their second year or above, studying science or engineering, with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50. They must also hold a TOEFL iBT score of at least 61 or an equivalent English proficiency score accepted by the program. Applicants intending to submit TOEIC or IELTS scores should confirm the applicable requirements with the exchange coordinator before applying.
