The ASEAN European Academic University Network (ASEA-UNINET) workshop of 2023 was finally hosted by the Center for International Affairs (CIA), on behalf of SUT, on February 14-15, 2023. Themed “ASEA-UNINET Virtual Workshop 2023” with more than 50 participants. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of none other than the esteemed Rector of SUT, Assoc. Dr. Anan Tongraar delivered an inspiring welcome speech.
The Virtual Workshop provided valuable insights to lecturers, researchers, and students at member universities who were interested in applying for scholarships or pursuing further studies. The workshop aimed to highlight ASEAN-UNINET network, Grants and to elevate proposal writing skills, with a particular focus on writing quality research proposals by esteemed speakers from the ASEA-UNINET Head Office.
First day of the workshop, led by Prof. Dr.Dr.h.c. A Min Tjoa, showing the ASEA-UNINET Research Opportunities, how we can access to resources that can help us advance our academic and research pursuits. Prof. Dr. Tjoa also encouraged us to explore the various research opportunities available and take advantage of them to enhance our skills and knowledge. Afterward, other important sessions presented by ASEAN-UNINET Officer Mr. Christoph Niederhauser, and Ms. Barbara Karahan were highly informative and engaging, providing participants with insights into the Ernst Mach Grant and ASEA-UNINET projects. The presentations were well-received by attendees, who found them to be both meaningful and relevant to their academic and research pursuits. The final program of the day was special talks were given by current and alumni students of the Ernst Mach Grant, including Mr. Konlarat Phirom-on and Ms. Angkana Kidtiwong, Ph.D. Grant students who are currently studying in Austria, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Soodkhet Pojpraphai, the winner of the Bernd Rode Award 2017. Their contributions to the virtual workshop provided attendees with valuable insights and enriched the discussions. The workshop was an excellent opportunity for participants to enhance their research and engage with fellow members of the ASEA-UNINET community.
The final day of the workshop kicked off with a highly anticipated session led by Prof. Dr. Gabriele Kotsis. The presentation focused on writing a quality research proposal and was eagerly attended by participants seeking to enhance their proposal writing skills. Prof. Dr. Kotsis shared a wealth of valuable insights, providing attendees with practical strategies and guidance to improve their proposals. This session was a valuable component of the ASEA-UNINET Virtual Workshop 2023 and received high praise from those in attendance.
As the curtains closed ASEA-UNINET Virtual Workshop 2023, the atmosphere was charged with excitement and enthusiasm. The closing ceremony was a fitting end to two days of productive discussions, insightful presentations, and stimulating conversations. Presiding over the ceremony was none other than the esteemed Vice-Rector for Engagement, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship of ASEA-UNINET Thailand, Dr. Mullika Sungsanit, who led the proceedings with poise and grace. The participants were honored to have her close the event, and her inspiring words left them feeling energized and motivated to take their skills and knowledge to new heights.

มทส. เป็นเจ้าภาพ ASEA-UNINET Virtual Workshop 2023
ในที่สุดการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการเครือข่ายมหาวิทยาลัยวิชาการอาเซียนยุโรป (ASEA-UNINET) ประจำปี 2566 จัดขึ้นโดยศูนย์กิจการนานาชาติ(CIA) ในนามของ มทส. เมื่อวันที่ 14-15 กุมภาพันธ์ 2566 ภายใต้หัวข้อ “ASEA-UNINET Virtual Workshop 2023” โดยมี ผู้เข้าร่วมมากกว่า 50 คน ในพิธีเปิดได้รับเกียรติจากท่านอธิการบดี มทส. รศ. ดร. อนันต์ ทองระอา เป็นประธานในพิธี ได้กล่าวเปิดงาน และกล่าวต้อนรับซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยการสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้กับผู้เข้าร่วมงานประชุมครั้งนี้
การประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการนี้ ได้ให้ข้อมูลเชิงลึกแก่อาจารย์ นักวิจัย และนักศึกษาในมหาวิทยาลัยสมาชิกที่สนใจสมัครทุนหรือศึกษาต่อ และมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเน้นไปที่เครือข่าย ASEA-UNINET ทุนการศึกษา และการยกระดับทักษะการเขียนงานวิจัย โดยวิทยากรผู้ทรงเกียรติจากสำนักงานใหญ่ของ ASEA-UNINET
การประชุมวันแรก นำโดย Prof. Dr. A Min Tjoa ได้บรรยายในเรื่องโอกาสการการวิจัยของ ASEA-UNINET รวมถึงวิธีที่จะสามารถเข้าถึงแหล่งข้อมูลที่จะช่วยให้เราสามารถพัฒนาการศึกษาและการวิจัย ทั้งนี้ Prof. Dr. A Min Tjoa ยังสนับสนุนให้สำรวจโอกาสในการวิจัยที่หลากหลายและใช้ประโยชน์จากโอกาสเหล่านี้เพื่อเพิ่มพูนทักษะและความรู้ ในเซสชั่นต่อมาได้รับเกียรติจากเจ้าหน้าที่ ASEA-UNINET คุณคริสตอฟ นีเดอร์เฮาเซอร์ และคุณบาร์บารา คาราฮาน ได้ให้ข้อมูลเชิงลึกแก่ผู้เข้าร่วมในโครงการ ASEA-UNINET Ernst Mach Grant การนำเสนอได้รับการตอบรับอย่างดีจากผู้เข้าร่วมประชุม โปรแกรมสุดท้ายของวันนี้เป็นการพูดคุยพิเศษกับนักศึกษาปัจจุบันและศิษย์เก่าที่ได้รับทุน Ernst Mach Grant โดยมีคุณกลรัตน์ ภิรมย์อ่อน และคุณอังคณา กิติวงษ์ นักศึกษาปริญญาเอกที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ที่ประเทศออสเตรีย และรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุดเขตต์ พจน์ประไพ ผู้ชนะรางวัล Bernd Rode Award 2017 ในเซสชั่นนี้ทำให้ผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมได้รับข้อมูลที่มีคุณค่าและสนุกไปกับแบ่งปันประสบการณ์ตรงต่างๆจากวิทยากร ซึ่งการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นโอกาสอันดีสำหรับผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมในการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการวิจัยและการมีส่วนร่วมกับสมาชิกในชุมชน ASEA-UNINET
วันสุดท้ายของการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ เริ่มต้นด้วยเซสชั่นที่มีผู้รอคอยเป็นอย่างมาก นำโดย Prof. Dr. Gabriele Kotsis ได้บรรยายมุ่งเน้นไปที่การเขียนโครงร่างการวิจัยที่มีคุณภาพ โดยเซสชั่นนี้ได้รับความสนใจจากผู้เข้าร่วมที่ต้องการเพิ่มพูนทักษะการเขียนโครงร่างการวิจัยเป็นอย่างมาก ทั้งนี้ Prof. Dr. Gabriele Kotsis ยังได้แบ่งปันข้อมูลเชิงลึกอันมีค่า รวมถึงกลยุทธ์ คำแนะนำ และข้อปฏิบัติต่างๆเพื่อพัฒนา ปรับปรุงการเขียนโครงร่างการวิจัย เซสชั่นนี้ถือว่าเป็นอีกองค์ประกอบสำคัญของงาน ASEA-UNINET Virtual Workshop 2023 ซึ่งได้รับการตอบรับอย่างดีจากผู้เข้าร่วมการประชุม
กล่าวได้ว่าบรรยากาศในงานประชุม ASEA-UNINET Virtual Workshop 2023 ครั้งนี้ เต็มไปด้วยความตื่นเต้นและความกระตือรือร้นของผู้เข้าร่วม ต่อมาในพิธีปิดได้รับเกียรติจาก อ. ดร.มัลลิกา สังข์สนิท รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายพันธกิจสัมพันธ์ นวัตกรรม และความเป็นผู้ประกอบการ และเป็นผู้ประสานงานเครือข่าย ASEA-UNINET แห่งชาติประจำประเทศไทย ได้ให้เกียรติประธานในการกล่าวปิดงาน โดยท่านได้กล่าวทิ้งท้ายที่สร้างแรงบันดาลใจและแรงจูงใจให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานในการพัฒนา ยกระดับทักษะและความรู้ไปสู่จุดสูงสุด
