On Friday 28th September 2018, the Centre for International Affairs (CIA) held a special event called “SUT International Night 2018” for international students, lecturers and staff.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Internationalisation, Director of CIA and Assistant to the Rector for Teaching and Learning Development and Internationalisation were among almost three hundred people who attended the event.
In this event, SUT students from all over the world made a tremendous effort in performing their traditional music and dances. They also provided the event attendees with food from their country, which they cooked by themselves.
In addition, there were performances by Surawiwat School teachers and students, the SUT Cheer Leading team as well as by the SUT bands.
The SUT International Night 2018 was aimed at bringing people from different cultures together and at promoting international atmosphere within the university.
Prior to the event, many of SUT international students joined CIA Director and Deputy Director at a cafe in an informal meeting. The purpose was for CIA to learn the needs of the students and to obtain suggestions on how to enhance our international ecosystem. ศูนย์กิจการนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี (มทส). จัดงาน SUT International Night 2018 โดยมี ศ.ดร. สันติ แม้นศิริ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิชาการและพัฒนาความเป็นสากล เป็นประธานในพิธี และ รศ. ดร.สิริโชค จึงถาวรรณ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์กิจการนานาชาติ กล่าวรายงานความเป็นมาและวัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดงาน สำหรับผู้เข้าร่วมงานประกอบด้วย ผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ บุคลากร นักศึกษาไทย และนักศึกษานานาชาติ ในระดับการศึกษา ปริญญาโท และ ปริญญาเอก จากหลากหลายประเทศทั่วโลก ณ ห้องสุรนารี สุรสัมมนาคาร เมื่อวันที่ 28 กันยายน 2561 ที่ผ่านมา
กิจกรรมภายในงานประกอบด้วย การร่วมรับประทานอาหารประจำชาติของแต่ละชาติ และการแสดงศิลปวัฒนธรรมและนิทรรศการจากประเทศต่าง ๆ ของนักศึกษา การจัดงานในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นการสานสัมพันธ์ การแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมด้านอาหาร การแสดง การแต่งกาย ภาษาระหว่างนักศึกษาไทย นักศึกษาต่างชาติ ซึ่งบรรยากาศของงานเต็มไปด้วยความอบอุ่น สนุกสนาน และผู้มีเข้าร่วมงาน จำนวนกว่า 300 คน ::: ภาพข่าว :::
