On March 19, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wipawee Usaha, Director of The Center for International Affairs, represented Suranaree University of Technology, along with delegates from Prince of Songkla University, in discussions with H.E. Wilhelm Donko, the Austrian Ambassador to Thailand, at the Austrian Embassy in Bangkok.
The meeting followed proposals from the 19th ASEA-UNINET Plenary Meeting at Universiti Sains Malaysia and focused on preparations for the first Austrian university network meeting in Thailand, scheduled for April 29, 2025, at the Austrian Embassy.
Dr. Nirat Sungsilp, Thailand’s ASEA-UNINET coordinator, provided guidance during the discussions on collaborative projects between Thai and Austrian institutions. This meeting strengthens academic partnerships and will enhance future research collaboration between the two countries.
