CIA Welcomes Exchange Students from University of Waterloo, Canada, September 2, 2025

 

On September 2, 2025 The Center for International Affairs, Suranaree University of Technology warmly welcomed two exchange students from the University of Waterloo, Canada, who have arrived to participate in the International Cooperative Education Program from September to December 2025.

Exchange Student Details:

Miss Marine-Chloe Vandame

  • Workplace: Center for Plant Genetic Conservation Project Under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Suranaree University of Technology (CRSPG-SUT)

Mr. Jack Vincent

  • Workplace: Korat Microbrew Co., Ltd.

Orientation Program:

Both undergraduate students are currently participating in the comprehensive Orientation Program at Suranaree University of Technology, organized by the Center for International Affairs from September 1-4, 2025. This program is designed to prepare them for their work experience and daily life in Thailand.

The International Cooperative Education Program represents part of the ongoing academic collaboration between Suranaree University of Technology and the University of Waterloo, Canada. This partnership facilitates the exchange of knowledge, practical experience, and cross-cultural understanding between the two institutions and countries.

The four-month International Cooperative Education Program demonstrates the strong academic partnership between SUT and the University of Waterloo, offering students valuable international work experience while contributing to ongoing projects in Thailand. This collaboration allows students to gain practical skills in their respective fields while experiencing Thai culture and professional environments.

The exchange program reinforces SUT’s commitment to international education and cross-cultural academic cooperation, providing meaningful opportunities for knowledge exchange and professional development between Canadian and Thai institutions.
