CIA Director, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wipawee Usaha, and her team, Miss Wachira Keeratipianlerd, and Miss Sarathip Rodmek, joined the “Worldwide & World-Class Series of Seminars: Thai-UK education partnership towards world-class university standards” on Monday, October 16, 2023. The event was held at Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park, organized by the British Council Thailand and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation.
They were accompanied by Dr. Aroonsri Nuchitprasittichai, Head of the Office of Global Engagement at the Institute of Engineering, and Miss Nanthanadee Bunphutthiporn, from the Office of Global Engagement.
The seminar provided insights into the latest developments and statistics related to Transnational Education at both national and regional levels. It also highlighted the role of TNE in driving Thai universities towards becoming world-class institutions.
Distinguished speakers included Assistant Professor Dr. Nithinan Wisaweisuan, Dean of Puey Ungphakorn School of Development Studies at Thammasat University, Professor Ray Priest, International Director: Asia Pacific at the University of the West of England, and Professor Steven Edwards from The University of Liverpool.
