Suranaree University of Technology (SUT)’s lecturers from the School of Physics and the Department of Physics from University of Malaya attended a joint seminar called the 2nd SUT-UM Seminar, which was held between the 1st and 2nd August 2018 at the University of Malaya, Malaysia.
The SUT-UM Seminar takes place every year where SUT and UM alternately becomes a host. In addition to presenting the research from both universities, academic and research collaboration was also discussed. Academic staff and student exchange was also an agenda.

The 2nd SUT-UN Seminar (SUTUM-2) โดยการประชุมจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 1-2 สิงหาคม 2561 ณ University of Malaya ประเทศมาเลเซีย
การประชุมวิชาการด้านฟิสิกส์นี้จะจัดปีละครั้งโดยทาง มทส. และ UM จะสลับกันเป็นเจ้าภาพ นอกจากการการนำเสนอความก้าวหน้าของงานวิจัยของทั้งสองหน่วยงานแล้ว ยังมีการหารือความร่วมมือทั้งทางด้านวิชาการและวิจัย รวมถึงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาและคณาจารย์ระหว่างสองมหาวิทยาลัยอีกด้วย
