On April 5, 2024, at the Capella Hotel in Bangkok, the Ministry of Higher Education and Science officially unveiled 13 new projects under the Mekong-Lanchang Special Fund. These initiatives aim to propel research and innovation forward, enhancing development and fostering cooperation among member countries within the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Framework. The focus lies on cultivating technologies and innovations tailored to the specific needs and resources of the region.
Suranaree University of Technology actively participated in this endeavor and was honored with recognition in the Outstanding Project in Management category. Specifically, the project titled “Technologies and Innovations for Improvement of Livestock and Aquaculture Production Efficiency, Product Quality, and Added Value, Based on Local Resources to Secure Production Sustainability,” where Suranaree University of Technology serves as the implementing agency, has been selected to receive the award for Outstanding Project in Management. This accolade seeks to foster greater comprehension and collaboration in advancing science and technology within the region.
