One Team, One Spirit: Celebrating Unity Through Sports and Friendship was the theme of the SUT Intercup 2025, a one-day event that brought Thai and international students together in a celebration of sports, teamwork, and cultural exchange. The Intercup was not only about competition, but also about building friendships, learning from one another, and strengthening the bonds within the SUT community.

The day began with an opening ceremony led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Tapany Patcharawit, Deputy Director of the Center for International Affairs. In her opening remarks, she reminded everyone that the Intercup is more than just winning or losing—it is about working together, showing respect, and enjoying the connections made through sports. Her message encouraged students to play with spirit, fairness, and pride in representing their teams.

Throughout the day, students competed in four main sports: basketball, volleyball, futsal, and badminton, with categories for men’s singles, women’s singles, and mixed doubles. Every match was full of energy and excitement, with teams giving their best effort and classmates cheering loudly from the sidelines. Even though the games were competitive, the atmosphere remained friendly and supportive, showing the true spirit of unity and sportsmanship.

By the end of the day, the results were announced: Team Nero finished in fourth place, Team Gaia earned third place, and Team Pyros secured second place. The overall champions of the SUT Intercup 2025 were Team Aero, who showed strong teamwork, determination, and skill throughout the games. While Aero took home the title, all teams walked away with new friendships, stronger bonds, and memories that will last long after the event.

The SUT Intercup 2025 proved that even in just one day, sports have the power to unite people from different cultures and backgrounds. With the dedication of the players, the support of the audience, and the hard work of the organizers, the event was a great success. Intercup SUT 2025: “One Team, One Spirit”

El SUT Intercup 2025 se celebró bajo el lema “One Team, One Spirit: Celebrating Unity Through Sports and Friendship”, reuniendo en un solo día a estudiantes tailandeses e internacionales para compartir deporte, amistad y trabajo en equipo.

La ceremonia de apertura estuvo a cargo de la Asist. Prof. Dra. Tapany Patcharawit, Subdirectora del Centro de Asuntos Internacionales, quien recordó que el Intercup no se trata solo de ganar o perder, sino de respeto, colaboración y orgullo al representar a cada equipo.

Los estudiantes compitieron en baloncesto, voleibol, futsal y bádminton, en categorías masculinas, femeninas y mixtas, en un ambiente lleno de energía y espíritu deportivo. Al final, los resultados fueron: 4.º lugar Team Nero, 3.º lugar Team Gaia, 2.º lugar Team Pyros y los campeones generales fueron Team Aero, destacándose por su gran trabajo en equipo y determinación.

Más allá de los trofeos, el evento demostró que el deporte une culturas, crea lazos duraderos y fortalece la comunidad de Suranaree University of Technology.

 

团结一心，共享激情——2025 年 SUT Intercup 运动会

以 “One Team, One Spirit: 团结一心，共享激情” 为主题的 2025 年 SUT Intercup 运动会 圆满落幕。这是一场为期一天的盛会，汇聚了泰国与国际学生，在体育竞技、团队合作与文化交流中共同庆祝团结与友谊。本届 Intercup 不仅是一场比赛，更是一次增进友谊、互相学习、凝聚校园情谊的重要契机。

开幕式由素罗娜丽科技大学国际事务中心副主任 副教授 Dr. Tapany Patcharawit 主持。在致辞中，她强调 Intercup 的意义不仅在于胜负，更在于团结合作、彼此尊重，以及通过体育建立的联系。她鼓励所有参赛选手以拼搏的精神、公平的态度和团队的荣誉感全情投入。

全天赛事涵盖了 篮球、排球、室内五人制足球和羽毛球 四大项目，其中羽毛球设有男单、女单与混双。每一场比赛都充满激情与活力，选手们全力以赴，场边的同学们也热情加油。虽然赛场竞争激烈，但氛围始终友好而融洽，充分展现了团结与体育精神的真谛。

经过一整天的激烈角逐，最终成绩揭晓：
Nero 队 —— 第四名
Gaia 队 —— 第三名
Pyros 队 —— 第二名
Aero 队 —— 凭借默契的团队合作、坚定的意志与出色的技巧，勇夺本届 Intercup 总冠军

虽然冠军属于 Aero 队，但所有参赛队伍都收获了新的友谊、更深的情谊和珍贵的回忆。

2025 年 SUT Intercup 运动会 充分证明：即使只有一天，体育也能将来自不同文化与背景的人们紧密连接在一起。凭借选手们的投入、观众们的支持以及主办方的辛勤付出，活动取得了圆满成功。“One Team, One Spirit” 的精神在这里得以生动呈现，让 Intercup 不仅是一场竞赛，更是一场 团结、多元、共融的盛会。
