the 2019-20 competition for the Global Affairs Canada SEED program is now open:
Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED)
It supports students from the ASEAN to study/research in Canada for 4-8 months. Since we have an agreement between our institutions undergraduate as well graduate students are eligible to apply. The application deadline is February 26th. Please have a look at the info sheet attached for more detailed eligibility criteria.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students from any discipline whose studies contribute towards the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. In 2018 all submitted applications by UVic were successful, and we received very positive feedback from students.
Please keep in mind that undergraduate applicants also need to be accepted in an exchange/co-op program. This application is completely separate from the scholarship application. Please check with your respective exchange/co-op contact at UVic.
