Indonesian Delegation from ITS Visits SUT for Collaborative Engagement

On 20th and 21st July 2023, a four-member delegation from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh
Nopember (ITS), Indonesia; Dr.Wi tantyo, Manager of the HETI Project, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr.Eko
Setijadi, Capacity Development Manager of HETI Project, Ir. M. Dr.Khoirul Effendi, Head of the
Center for Excellence in Science and Technology for Automotive Control Systems and Dr.
Bambang Iskandriawan, Head of the Center for Excellence in Science and Technology for
Creative Design, visit SUT(Suranaree University of Technology). The primary objective of the visit
was to explore potential collaboration opportunities between the two institutions.

During their stay on 20th July, the ITS delegation had a productive meeting with Dr. Mullika, the
Vice-Rector for Engagement, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, and Dr. Wipawee. The
discussions primarily focused on enhancing collaboration in various academic and research
areas. The delegation expressed their keen interest in continuing the ongoing conversation
regarding the Bridging Science Technopark (STP) Program, which had been initiated earlier.

The following afternoon, the ITS delegation was given a comprehensive campus tour by Center
for International Affairs (CIA) at SUT. The tour provided them with an overview of the university’s
facilities, departments, and student life.

on 21st July, the delegation also had the opportunity to visit Techlopolis, where they observed
and learned about the operations and functioning of the technology park. This visit further
solidified the potential for future collaboration between ITS and SUT in the field of technology
and innovation.
