Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anan Tongraar, the Rector of Suranaree University of Technology, has been elected to the Executive Board of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP).
The announcement was made at the 15th AUAP Annual Conference held at Daffodil International University in Dhaka, Bangladesh on November 14th, 2022.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anan Tongraar will serve as a Executive Board for a term of 2 years, starting from January 1st, 2023, to December 31st, 2024.
The AUAP is an association of more than 170 universities and educational institutions from across Asia and the Pacific. It aims to promote cooperation and exchange of information among its members, as well as to enhance the quality of higher education in the region.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anan Tongraar appointment to the Executive Board is a recognition of his leadership and contributions to the field of higher education in Thailand and the region. His extensive experience and expertise will undoubtedly be an asset to the AUAP, as it continues to strive for excellence and innovation in the field of higher education.
