On April 23, 2024, a delegation from SGInnovate visited Suranaree University of Technology, expressing a strong desire to foster collaboration in deep tech and quantum technology. This pivotal meeting brought together thought leaders from both institutions: Nicholas Sim, Wilma Heng, Valerina Yeong, Hui Jie, and Sairesh Pillai from SGInnovate, alongside Suranaree University’s esteemed faculty and staff.
The agenda was marked by engaging discussions and strategic meetings aimed at exploring avenues for future collaborations. Notable highlights included insightful sessions led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wipawee Usaha and Asst. Prof. Dr. Tapany Patcharawit from the Center for International Affairs, as well as dynamic exchanges with representatives from Technopolis Incubation and Acceleration Units. Additionally, the event featured a special talk on the Summation Program, hosted by the Center for International Affairs, which drew over 70 guests, further amplifying the exchange of ideas and opportunities. As the day concluded, it was evident that the seeds of collaboration had been planted, paving the way for exciting prospects in the realm of deep tech innovation.
