Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) played a prominent role at the 20th ASEA-UNINET Plenary Meeting held in Brescia, Italy. Dr. Mullika Sungsanit was elected as the new President of ASEA-UNINET, becoming the third Thai to hold the position. The meeting welcomed new member institutions and promoted regional collaboration for sustainable development. SUT also leads several key working groups addressing global challenges such as climate change, renewable energy, and bioeconomy. Thailand is set to host the next plenary meeting in Khao Yai in February 2027.
