ด้วยสำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางชั่วคราว นครราชสีมา มีกำหนดปิดปรับปรุงซ่อมแซมอาคารสำนักงาน ณ อาคารศูนย์แสดงสินค้าของดีเมืองโคราช (OTOP) ศาลากลางจังหวัดนครราชสีมา ตั้งแต่วันที่24 ตุลาคม 2561 และเพื่อไม่ให้การให้บริการประชาชนหยุดชะงัก สำนักงานหนังสือเดินทางฯ จะย้ายไปเปิดให้บริการรับคำร้องทำหนังสือเดินทาง ณ ที่ทำการชั่วคราว ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ภายในศูนย์การค้าเซ้นทรัลพลาซ่า นครราชสีมา ชั้น 3 ตั้งแต่วันที่ 29 ตุลาคม 2561 ในวันเวลาและราชการ เป็นต้นไป จึงประกาศมาเพื่อให้นักศึกษา คณาจารย์ บุคลากร ชาว มทส. เพื่อโปรดทราบ
มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี (มทส.) ติดกลุ่ม 1 ใน 10 มหาวิทยาลัยของไทย จากการจัดอันดับมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำระดับเอเชีย “QS University Rankings: Asia 2019” เป็นปีที่ 3 ติดต่อกัน โดยปีนี้อยู่ในอันดับ 291-300 สูงกว่าการจัดอันดับปี 2018 ที่อยู่ในอันดับ 301-350 บ่งบอกถึงความมุ่งมั่นในการพัฒนาศักยภาพให้เป็น “มหาวิทยาลัยคุณภาพ” แห่งหนึ่งของประเทศไทยและของเอเชียอย่างต่อเนื่อง รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วีระพงษ์ แพสุวรรณ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี (มทส.) เผยว่า การประกาศผลการจัดอันดับมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำระดับเอเชีย “QS University Rankings: Asia 2019” โดย The Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) สำนักจัดอันดับมหาวิทยาลัยโลกจากประเทศอังกฤษ เมื่อวันที่ 24 ตุลาคมที่ผ่านมา นับเป็นความสำเร็จที่ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารีได้รับการจัดอันดับอยู่ในกลุ่มอันดับ 291-300 ของเอเชีย โดยเป็น 1 ใน 10 ของมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำของไทย สำหรับเกณฑ์ที่ใช้ในการจัดอันดับมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำระดับเอเชีย ประกอบด้วย 11 ตัวชี้วัด ได้แก่ ชื่อเสียงด้านวิชาการของมหาวิทยาลัย (30%) ชื่อเสียงจากผู้ประกอบการหรือผู้จ้างงาน (20%) อัตราส่วนระหว่างนักศึกษาต่ออาจารย์ประจำ (10%) สัดส่วนจำนวนการอ้างอิงต่อจำนวนผลงานตีพิมพ์ Continue Reading
