Suranaree University of Technology is proud to congratulate Associate Professor Dr. Keerati Chayakulkheeree from the School of Electrical Engineering on being selected as a recipient of the 2026 Fulbright Thai Visiting Scholar (TVS) Program by the Thailand-United States Educational Foundation (Fulbright Thailand).
About the Fulbright TVS Program
The Fulbright Thai Visiting Scholar Program enables senior Thai scholars, researchers, and lecturers across various fields to conduct research, lecture, or undertake special academic-related projects for 3-6 months in the United States. fulbrightthai
The program awards up to three grants annually, with selection based on applicants’ professional qualifications and the quality and significance of their project proposals. Applicants must secure an official letter of invitation from a U.S. host institution prepared to receive them.
Grant Benefits include round-trip international airfare, monthly stipend of US$2,500-2,900 (based on the city’s cost of living), professional allowance, settling-in allowance, allowance for up to two qualified dependents, health insurance, and excess baggage reimbursement.
The 2026 scholarship recipients include three scholars (listed alphabetically):
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Donchai Praknondee – Faculty of Education, Burapha University
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Keerati Chayakulkheeree – School of Electrical Engineering, Suranaree University of Technology
- Dr. Suriyan Supavanichwong – School of Industrial Education and Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang
Eligibility Requirements include being a Thai citizen in good health, under 58 years of age, holding a doctoral degree with strong English proficiency, and having at least 10 years of teaching or research experience at the university level. The program is open to all fields except medicine, dentistry, and nursing.
