SUT Engineering Students Broaden Global Perspectives through the ATU-Net Mobility Program 2026 in Indonesia, June 9-12, 2026

Four undergraduate students from the Institute of Engineering, Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), participated in the ATU-Net Mobility Program 2026, hosted by Universitas Multi Data Palembang (Universitas MDP), Indonesia, from 9–12 June 2026.

The participating students were:

The program featured academic and intercultural activities designed to broaden students’ international perspectives, including guest lectures, innovation presentations, networking activities, and opportunities to experience the local culture and heritage of Palembang. Through these activities, the students enhanced their communication, teamwork, creativity, and cross-cultural competencies while establishing connections with students and academics from participating institutions.

The students’ participation was implemented under the academic cooperation agreement between SUT and Universitas MDP. The collaboration provides an important framework for advancing international academic activities, particularly student mobility and other mutually beneficial educational initiatives. Universitas MDP is officially listed among SUT’s international partner institutions, with cooperation covering areas such as general academic collaboration and student exchange.

Located in Palembang, South Sumatra, Universitas MDP is a higher education institution specialising in technology and business education. The university offers programs in areas such as information systems, informatics, electrical engineering, management, and accounting, with an emphasis on up-to-date curricula, innovation, and the application of technology in education and business.

For this program, Universitas MDP waived the activity fees, while SUT provided partial financial support for the students’ airfare. The participation reflects SUT’s commitment to promoting international mobility and providing its students with meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom.
