SUT Welcomes 17 Inbound Exchange Students from Four Partner Universities, July 6, 2026

On 6 July 2026, the Center for International Affairs (CIA), Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), organized an orientation program to welcome 17 inbound exchange and visiting students from four partner universities in Taiwan, Vietnam, and Indonesia: National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU), Taiwan; Can Tho University (CTU), Vietnam; Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), Indonesia; and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia.

The students were warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wipawee Usaha, Acting Director of the Center for International Affairs. In her welcoming remarks, she shared useful advice on adapting to university life, engaging in academic and cultural activities, and making the most of their international exchange experience at SUT.

The program continued with an orientation session conducted by Ms. Hataikan Tongjaroen, Student Exchange Program Coordinator. The session provided essential information about SUT, student facilities and services, estimated living expenses, important guidelines for studying and living in Thailand, basic Thai expressions, and an introduction to Thai cuisine. The information was intended to help the students adjust smoothly and prepare for a rewarding academic and cultural experience at SUT.

Following the orientation, the students participated in a campus tour, including a visit to the Thao Suranaree Monument and the Center for Library Resources and Educational Media. During the visit, they learned about the university’s learning facilities, educational resources, and student support services.

The activity reflects SUT’s continued commitment to internationalization, student mobility, and the development of an inclusive learning environment where students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds can connect, learn, and grow together.
