Between Wednesday 28th and Friday 30th November 2018, the Vice Rector for Research, Innovation and Technology Development, Chief of Student Entrepreneurship Development Academy (SEDA), and the Director of the Centre for International Affairs attend the third World Technology Universities Congress (WTUC3) hosted in Chennai, India by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science. The congress includes sessions featuring global university, business, and industry leaders discussing current and future challenges facing the world and the role and responsibilities of universities taking multi–disciplinary approaches to respond to these challenges.
The discussion is focused on the exchange of experiences and best practices in the current and future challenges on the role and responsibilities of universities in many aspects. Apart from the programme, the representatives from SUT also discuss with president of ITS, Surabaya, Indonesia (Prof. Joni Hermana) and Associate Pro–Vice–Chancellor, Coventry University, UK (Joanne Dobson) about future collaborations.
In this occasion, Dr. Mullika Sungsanit (Chief of SEDA) has been invited to deliver a talk in Innovation & Entrepreneurship Session about “Entrepreneur Development Initiative @ SUT: The Journey toward becoming Entrepreneurial University”. The talk is devoted to showcase example of how SUT engender innovation and entrepreneurship in university. It highlights initiatives in and outside of the curriculum and considers higher skills, student innovation and entrepreneurship and social innovation.
Dr. Mullika also delivers a talk in ‘Exchanges in the Spotlight’ Session focused on the activity between SUT and Coventry University, UK. The partnership has been formed because the two universities are members of the World Technology Universities Network or WTUN, who also partly provided a grant. ::: Photo gallery :::

ในการเข้าร่วมประชุมครั้งนี้ อาจารย์ ดร.มัลลิกา สังข์สนิท หัวหน้าโครงการการจัดตั้งสถานพัฒนาความเป็นผู้ประกอบการสำหรับนักศึกษาเป็นผู้แทนมหาวิทยาลัยในการร่วมบรรยายในหัวข้อ Entrepreneurship Development Initiative @SUT: The Journey toward becoming Entrepreneurial University โดยได้รับการสนันสนุนค่าใช้จ่ายจาก World Technology Universities Network (WTUN) ทั้งนี้มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี เข้าร่วมเป็นสมาชิก World Technology Universities Network (WTUN) ตั้งแต่ปี 2560 เป็นต้นมา
