POLITEHNICA Bucharest Opens 2025 Admissions for EU and Non-EU Students Across 400+ Programs, Application deadline: July 31, 2026

National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest has announced the opening of applications for EU and Non-EU students , offering over 400 undergraduate and graduate programs across multiple disciplines. Applications must be submitted online by 31 July 2026, with admission conducted under European academic standards and the Bologna Process framework.

The university aims to expand international academic collaboration and strengthen global cooperation in science, technology, and innovation by welcoming qualified international students to its two campuses in Bucharest and Pitești.

Recognized as one of Romania’s leading institutions in science, technology, and engineering, POLITEHNICA Bucharest has a history spanning more than 200 years. The university operates two main campuses—Bucharest and Pitești—and comprises 20 faculties, serving approximately 40,000 students.

The institution maintains academic and research partnerships with universities and organizations in more than 100 countries, reinforcing its role in international affairs, regional partnership, and policy dialogue in higher education. Its research infrastructure focuses on strategic areas such as clean energy, artificial intelligence, robotics, and advanced technologies.

All academic programs are aligned with the Bologna Process to ensure compatibility with European higher education standards. Courses are offered in multiple languages, including English, French, and German, enhancing accessibility for international students.

For Non-EU applicants, eligibility requires academic qualifications consistent with the chosen level and program of study. Applications must be submitted online with certified supporting documents translated into the required language. Upon acceptance, students must apply for a long-stay study visa, provide proof of accommodation, demonstrate financial resources of at least EUR 5,000, secure health insurance, and complete tuition payment in accordance with university regulations to confirm enrollment.
