Enhancing Road Safety Awareness: CIA Organizes “SUT Drive Right” for International Students

The Center for International Affairs (CIA), Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) organized the activity “SUT Drive Right: Traffic Laws, Safety, and Responsibility” on Friday, 27 March 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at Academic Building 2 Hall. The event aimed to raise awareness among international students about safe driving practices, Thai traffic regulations, and legal responsibilities related to vehicle use in Thailand, ensuring that students are well-informed and able to comply with local laws.

The programme featured informative sessions on traffic law compliance, motorcycle ownership regulations, insurance requirements, and road safety practices, including real case studies involving international students.

Participants also gained practical knowledge through interactive discussions, a readiness checklist for driving in Thailand, and engaging activities promoting safe and responsible driving behavior.

This initiative reflects SUT’s commitment to supporting international students’ well-being, safety, and successful adaptation to living in Thailand.
