On the morning of Wednesday, 25 January 2023, SUT had an honor visit from the South African Embassy, led by Chargé d’Affaires a.i., Ms. Thobeka Dlamini, First Secretary, Mr. Lebogang Seshoka and Trade and Information Officer and Mr. Debbanlue Jadkrabuanbala. SUT representatives; Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatchai Jothiyangkoon, Vice-Rector for Finance, Assets, and University Enterprises, Asst. Prof. Dr. Phongchai Jittamai, Assistant Rector for Student Development and Alumni Engagement, Asst. Prof. Dr.Kiattisak Batsungnoen, Assistant Rector for University Council Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issra Pramoolsook, and Director of Center for International Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr.Wipawee Usaha, has warmly welcomed the delegates at Saranitas Meeting Room, Administrative Building.
The highlight of the visit was a discussion concerning Scholarships and possible future collaborations in education, research, Innovation, Etc. Following the session, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., Ms. Thobeka Dlamini and her entourages visited SUT Waste Management and Biomass Facility; thank you to the Head of CoE Biomass, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pansa Liplap showed the delegates around and gave some information on Zero Waste Project at the Demonstration Center for Waste Management and Energy Production. Before the delegates departed from SUT, they stopped by the Student Entrepreneurship Development Academy (SEDA) at the Innovation Playground (F1) and the session led by the Head of SEDA, Dr.Wiwat Nuansing, along with SEDA administration representatives.
สถานเอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐแอฟริกาใต้ประจำประเทศไทยเยือน SUT
ในช่วงเช้าวันพุธที่ 25 มกรคม 2566 มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารีได้รับเกียรติจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐแอฟริกาใต้ประจำประเทศไทยมาเยือน นำโดยท่านอุปทูต Ms.Thobeka Dlamini เลขานุการเอก Mr.Lebogang Seshoka และเจ้าหน้าที่ด้านการค้าและข้อมูล คุณเทพบันลือ จัดกระบวนพล โดยทางตัว SUT นำโดยรศ. ดร.ฉัตรชัย โชติษฐยางกูร รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิชาการและประกันคุณภาพ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พงษ์ชัย จิตตะมัย รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายการเงิน ทรัพย์สิน และวิสาหกิจ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เกียรติศักดิ์ บัตรสูงเนิน ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายพัฒนานักศึกษาและศิษย์เก่าสัมพันธ์ รศ. ดร.อิศรา ประมูลศุข ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการสภามหาวิทยาลัย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วิภาวี อุสาหะ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์กิจการนานาชาติ และ น.ส.ศราทิพย์ รอดเมฆ เจ้าหน้าที่ศูนย์กิจการนานาชาติ ได้ร่วมต้อนรับท่านอุปทูตพร้อมคณะอย่างอบอุ่น ณ ห้องประชุมสารนิทัศน์ อาคารบริหาร
ในการมาเยือนของท่านอุปทูต Ms.Thobeka Dlamini และคณะในครั้งนี้ ได้มีการพูดคุยเรื่องทุนการศึกษา โอกาสและแนวโน้มที่เป็นไปได้ในการร่วมมือด้านการศึกษา การวิจัย และนวัตกรรม ในอนาคตอันใกล้ หลังจากการหารือเสร็จสิ้นคณะท่านอุปทูตได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมศูนย์สาธิตการผลิตพลังงานจากกากของเสียและขยะชุมชน มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี โดยท่านผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พรรษา ลิบลับ ได้นำเยี่ยมชมและให้ข้อมูลภายในศูนย์สาธิตนี้ รวมถึงข้อมูลโครงการ Zero Waste อีกด้วย
ทั้งนี้ก่อนเดินทางกลับคณะท่านอุปทูตยังได้เยี่ยมชมโครงการจัดตั้งสถานพัฒนาความเป็นผู้ประกอบการสำหรับนักศึกษา (SEDA) โดยมี อ. ดร.วิวัฒน์ นวลสิงห์ บรรยายและให้ข้อมูลในครั้งนี้
