Thai official passport holders traveling to France from 1 April 2026 onward must now apply for a visa — as the Thai–French mutual visa exemption agreement expires on 31 March 2026 and renewal negotiations remain unresolved.
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) has urgently notified all affiliated universities to inform relevant personnel immediately. Those planning official travel to France should contact the French Embassy in Bangkok as soon as possible.

ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 เมษายน 2569 เป็นต้นไป ผู้ถือหนังสือเดินทางราชการไทยที่เดินทางไปสาธารณรัฐฝรั่งเศส ต้องยื่นขอวีซ่าล่วงหน้า เนื่องจากสิทธิยกเว้นวีซ่าได้สิ้นสุดลงเมื่อวันที่ 31 มีนาคม 2569 และปัจจุบันยังอยู่ระหว่างการเจรจาต่ออายุ
