GNU–SUT Global Project-Based Learning (gPBL) 2026, January 25-30, 2026

Dr. Tanongsak Yingnakorn from the School of Metallurgical Engineering, Suranaree University of Technology, participated in the GNU–SUT Global Project-Based Learning (gPBL) Camp 2026, held at Gyeongsang National University (GNU), Jinju, Republic of Korea, from 25–30 January 2026. The programme aimed to strengthen academic collaboration between the two institutions while enhancing students’ global competencies through international engagement.

The camp focused on empowering students through an immersive project-based learning experience, enabling participants to develop key competencies such as teamwork, project management, and business proposal development. The programme also incorporated cultural exchange activities, including traditional Korean games and a study visit to the Busan Museum, providing students with a deeper understanding of Korean culture.

In addition, the programme facilitated academic discussions between faculty members from both universities to explore future collaboration opportunities, particularly in Materials Science and multidisciplinary research areas. The event also served as a platform to present frameworks for student and staff mobility programmes under the existing MOU between SUT and GNU.
