The Center for International Affairs (CIA) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Government of Canada’s Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development – Phase 2 (SEED-2) for the 2026–2027 academic year. The program offers short-term study and research opportunities at Canadian post-secondary institutions for students from ASEAN member states, Pacific Island countries, and Mongolia.
The SEED-2 program aims to strengthen international academic cooperation, enhance students’ global competencies, and contribute to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Successful candidates may undertake short-term study or research in Canada for a period of 4 to 8 months.
The scholarship provides financial support covering major expenses, including airfare, visa or study permit fees, health insurance, living expenses, and books. The funding value ranges from CAD 10,200 to CAD 15,900, depending on the level and duration of the exchange. Applications must be submitted through eligible Canadian host institutions, with the application deadline set for 24 March 2026.

โครงการ SEED-2 มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างประเทศ พัฒนาศักยภาพนักศึกษาในระดับนานาชาติ และสนับสนุนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนตามกรอบ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development โดยผู้ได้รับทุนสามารถเข้าศึกษาหรือทำวิจัยระยะสั้นเป็นระยะเวลา 4–8 เดือน
ทุนครอบคลุมค่าใช้จ่ายสำคัญ อาทิ ค่าเดินทางระหว่างประเทศ ค่าวีซ่าหรือใบอนุญาตการศึกษา ค่าประกันสุขภาพ ค่าใช้จ่ายในการดำรงชีวิต และค่าหนังสือ โดยมีมูลค่าทุนตั้งแต่ 10,200–15,900 ดอลลาร์แคนาดา ทั้งนี้ การสมัครจะดำเนินการผ่านสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในประเทศแคนาดา และมีกำหนดปิดรับสมัคร ภายในวันที่ 24 มีนาคม 2026
