SUEP President and representatives visited SUT.

On Friday 13th July 2018, Professor Li Hexing, the President of Shanghai University of Electric Power (SUEP) and SUEP delegates visited Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) in order to seek collaboration in academic affairs, research andexchange of students and staff.

Associate Professor Dr. Weerapong Pairsuwan, the Rector ofSUT, the Dean of the Institute of Engineering, the Deputy Director of the Institute of Research and Development, the Head of the School of Mathematics and the Deputy Director of the Centre for International Affairs were present to welcome the SUEP delegates.

A very productive meeting was held in order to discuss future collaborations, which can be summarised as follows:

(1) Joint research or joint laboratories – SUEP agreed to accept students and researchers from SUT to work with them at their laboratories.

(2) Short-term camps – SUEP and SUT agreed to exchange students to participate in their respective camps or summer schools.

(3) Double-degree programme – SUEP and SUT agreed that 2+2 programmes would be a possibility.

(4) A draft of MoU between the two institutions was also discussed.

After the meeting, the Director of the Centre for Scientific andTechnological Equipment showed the SUEP President anddelegates around the F11 buildings. The visitors were very impressed by the facilities we had at SUT.

We hope that fruitful collaborations will take place between SUTand SUEP, which will benefit both students and staff at both universities. ::: Photo gallery:::

 

วันนี้ (13 กรกฎาคม 2561) รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วีระพงษ์  แพสุวรรณ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารีพร้อมคณะผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี ให้การต้อนรับ Professor Li Hexing อธิการบดีและคณะผู้บริหารจาก Shanghai University of Electric Power (SUEP) สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ในการมาเจรจาเพื่อพัฒนาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี ณ ห้องประชุมสารนิเทศ อาคารบริหาร และในช่วงบ่ายมีกำหนดนำคณะไปเยี่ยมชมห้องปฏิบัติการศูนย์เครื่องมือวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ศูนย์บรรณสารและสื่อการศึกษา
