CIA-SUT Hosts Comprehensive Orientation Day for SUT New International Students, June 27, 2025

The Center for International Affairs, Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) host a New International Student Orientation Day on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Bannasarn Sathit Meeting Room on the 4th floor of the Center for Library and Education Media Building. The event is organized by the Center for International Affairs to help new international students integrate into university life.

The orientation to welcome new students from Myanmar, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam, reflecting SUT’s diverse international student community.

Morning Program Highlights

The morning session features welcome addresses from the Center for International Affairs team and institute representatives, along with an “All about SUT” presentation and networking activities for new students.

A key component of the morning program is the comprehensive information session titled “Everything a New International Students Need to Know,” featuring presentations from essential campus services:

  • Center for Educational Services (CES)
  • Division of Student Affairs (DSA)
  • Sports and Health Center (SHC)
  • Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment (CSTE)
  • Center for Computer Services (CCS)
  • Center for Library Resources and Educational Media (CLREM)

The morning concludes with a guided tour of the Center for Library Resources and Educational Media.

Campus Tours and Cultural Experience

The afternoon program includes an extensive SUT campus walking tour covering key facilities such as the DIGITECH Building, Classroom Building Complex 1-2, Academic Buildings 1-2, and the Administrative Building. The orientation day will conclude with a visit to Save One Market, providing students with an opportunity to explore local culture and shopping options.
