On October 27, 2025, Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) welcomed Professor Dr. Oswin Maurer from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (UNIBZ), Italy, under the framework of the ASEA-UNINET network. Hosted by the Center for International Affairs, the visit focused on exploring collaboration opportunities in entrepreneurship, innovation, environmental sustainability, agriculture, ecotourism, and digital technology. This visit marks an important step in strengthening academic partnerships between SUT and European institutions through the ASEA-UNINET platform.
In the morning session, Professor Maurer visited the Student Entrepreneurship Development Academy (SEDA) and met with Dr. Mullika Sungsanit, Head of the Center of Excellence for Entrepreneurship and ASEA-UNINET President, to discuss potential cooperation and future initiatives in entrepreneurship education and innovation. The afternoon program continued with strategic meetings at Technopolis and the Institute of Agricultural Technology, where both parties explored comprehensive opportunities for academic and research collaboration. These discussions highlighted mutual interests in sustainable development, agricultural innovation, and technology transfer, laying the groundwork for future joint projects and student exchange programs between SUT and UNIBZ.
