Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), through the Center for International Affairs (CIA), welcomed and provided an orientation for a delegation of 19 undergraduate students and 4 faculty members from Changzhou Institute of Technology (CIT), People’s Republic of China, who participated in the International Training Program on Data Science, held from 17 January to 1 February 2026.
The program was organized by the Institute of Science, Division of Mathematics and Geoinformatics, Suranaree University of Technology, in academic collaboration with Prof. Dr. Zhang Hong from the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Changzhou Institute of Technology. The program was coordinated on behalf of SUT by Asst. Prof. Dr. Poj Lertsukool, a faculty member of the Division of Mathematics and Geoinformatics.
The training program comprised both academic and practical sessions, conducted at Room C2-124, Academic Building 2, and the Geoinformatics Laboratory, Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment 7 (F7). The academic component included instruction in the course SC106 2002: Machine Learning for Data Science and Geoinformatics, aimed at enhancing participants’ knowledge and practical skills in data science, machine learning, and geoinformatics.
In addition, participants engaged in academic exchange activities with SUT faculty members, promoting international learning experiences and professional development in a multicultural academic environment.
This international training program represents a significant step in strengthening educational cooperation and student exchange between Suranaree University of Technology and higher education institutions in the People’s Republic of China, and serves as a foundation for sustainable future collaboration in education and research. ::: photo album :::
มทส. ให้การต้อนรับและปฐมนิเทศคณะนักศึกษาและคณาจารย์จาก Changzhou Institute of Technology เข้าร่วมโครงการฝึกอบรมนานาชาติ
มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี (มทส.) โดยศูนย์กิจการนานาชาติ ให้การต้อนรับและปฐมนิเทศคณะนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีจำนวน 19 คน พร้อมด้วยคณาจารย์จำนวน 4 คน จาก สถาบันเทคโนโลยีฉางโจว (Changzhou Institute of Technology: CIT) สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ซึ่งเข้าร่วม โครงการฝึกอบรมนานาชาติด้านวิทยาการข้อมูล (International Training Program on Data Science) ระหว่างวันที่ 17 มกราคม – 1 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2569
โครงการดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นโดย สำนักวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ สาขาวิชาคณิตศาสตร์และภูมิสารสนเทศ ภายใต้ความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. Zhang Hong จาก School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Changzhou Institute of Technology โดยมี ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พจน์ เลิศชูสกุล อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชาคณิตศาสตร์และภูมิสารสนเทศ เป็นผู้รับผิดชอบและประสานงานโครงการฝ่าย มทส.
กิจกรรมการฝึกอบรมประกอบด้วยการเรียนการสอนเชิงวิชาการและเชิงปฏิบัติการ จัดขึ้น ณ ห้องประชุม C2-124 ชั้น 1 อาคารวิชาการ 2 และ ห้องปฏิบัติการภูมิสารสนเทศ ศูนย์เครื่องมือวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี 7 (F7) โดยมีการจัดการเรียนการสอนรายวิชา SC106 2002 Machine Learning for Data Science and Geoinformatics เพื่อเสริมสร้างความรู้และทักษะด้านวิทยาการข้อมูล การเรียนรู้ของเครื่อง และภูมิสารสนเทศให้แก่นักศึกษาจาก CIT
นอกจากนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการยังได้ร่วมกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนทางวิชาการกับคณาจารย์ของ มทส. ซึ่งช่วยส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ในบริบทนานาชาติและการพัฒนาศักยภาพทางวิชาการของผู้เข้าร่วม
โครงการฝึกอบรมนานาชาติครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งกิจกรรมสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือทางการศึกษาและการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารีและสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน อันจะนำไปสู่ความร่วมมือทางวิชาการและการวิจัยในอนาคตอย่างยั่งยืน
